Guide for camp owners
Get your camp licensed before you rent it
Practical steps to rent out a camp in Bahrain legally, plus a quick pre-check so we can point you to your next step.
FALY is an independent platform
FALY is not a government body and does not issue permits or licences. This guide is for orientation only and requirements can change each season; the official authorities have the final say.
Step by step
Register the camp site in the Khayyam service
Download the official Aljunobya app and register your site through the Khayyam service when the season opens. The app sets the dates and permitted areas.
Complete the camping permit and deposit
Follow the municipality and governorate instructions to pay the deposit and complete the permit. Paying the deposit alone is not a permit.
Get a commercial registration (CR) if you rent the camp out
Renting a camp to others is a commercial activity. Make sure you hold a CR with a suitable activity before taking paid bookings.
Ask the municipality for a rental licence
Check with the Ministry of Municipalities camping service what a camp rental licence needs in your area, and meet the safety and cleanliness conditions.
Display the permit at the camp gate
Keep the permit visible at the entrance and a digital copy on your phone. A camp without a visible permit may be treated as unlicensed.
List your camp on FALY
Once licensed, apply to list. We check the permit and CR before giving a verification badge.
