A few small checks help make a night outdoors more comfortable and safer for everyone.

Keep children within sight, especially near roads, cooking areas and generators.

Keep flames and cooking equipment well away from tents, fabric and dry brush.

Use only a stable, ventilated outdoor position for generators; never bring one inside.

Know where the fire extinguisher and first-aid kit are, and keep exits clear.
